Bob is a great drum teacher. My son has been with him since 3rd grade; he is now going into 10th grade. My son has learned the fundamentals, how to improve his technique and how to read charts under Bob's direction. She started on drum set, but is progressing with Bob on snare drum, marimba and timpani as well, and was selected to the Maryland All-State Junior Band this year as a freshman. Bob is an excellent instructor who is patient but also pushes you to learn the key fundamentals. He is highly interactive and allows you to develop at your pace. From rudiments, rhythms, fills and fun stuff like playing along to music. I took on this new adventure, knowing nothing, as a therapy after a stroke. While my goal is simply to learn and enjoy, I feel I have gained a true love for drums.
